- If you want to make these ahead you can prepare the filling, prep the mushrooms and stuff the caps. Then you want to arrange them in a single layer in a dish that fits in your fridge. They easily keep for a day that way
- If you do make them ahead, you can bake them right before you need them (or transport them unbaked to wherever your headed and bake them there). That way you get to serve a warm appetizer AND you don’t need to spend time away from the party to assemble your dish!
- If. But really only if. You don’t have time for anything (life happens!) – use a cheese spread that already has herbs in it. Shhh, you didn’t hear it from me!
