Ingredients

Semi-sweet chocolate, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, butter, vanilla, eggs, salt, pecans and chocolate chunks.

Cream the wet ingredients

Add eggs, sugar (yep, totally wet), vanilla extract and salt to a medium bowl and beat until creamy, light and fluffy.

Melt chocolate and butter

Melt the chocolate and butter, then gradually add to the egg mixture with the mixer running.

Finish the batter

Finally, sift the flour and cocoa powder over the chocolate mix. Beat in on low speed until you have a glossy batter.

Add mix-ins

Finally, fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chunks.

Bake

Pour the batter into a lined 8×8 or 9×9 inch pan. Bake in the preheated oven at 300°F for around 30 minutes, or until just set.
