These Air Fried Green Beans come out roasted and delicious! The crispy blistered skin gives them a wonderful depth of flavor for the perfect easy side dish.
Place green beans in a large bowl and toss with the olive oil.
Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper over green beans and toss to evenly coat.
Carefully place seasoned green beans in the hot ai fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, until blistered and cooked through. Shake basket 2-3 times during the cooking time to make sure the beans cook evenly. Serve immediately.

Ingredient notes
Green beans: I used fresh green beans. You can also use frozen green beans! They will need an extra minute or two to cook and come out with a slightly different texture, but are still very delicious.
Olive oil: This is my favorite oil for this recipe, but feel free to use canola oil or any other oil suitable for cooking you have on hand.
Spicy beans: Feel free to add some chili flakes to the beans for heat.
Recipe tips
I use a large Cosori Max Air Fryer (affiliate link) with a basket of 5.8 quart. If you have a much smaller air fryer, you may only be able to cook ½ pound of green beans at a time.
If you need to double the recipe, please cook it in batches. You mustn’t overcrowd the air fryer, as it cooks with the heat circulating around the food.
I do not recommend making this recipe ahead of time. The beans taste best and have the best texture eaten right away.
