Orange and Chocolate Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried dates pitted
  • 1/4 cup soft dried apricots
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder raw preferred
  • zest from 1-2 oranges
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process until everything is evenly chopped and sticks together if you press it into a ball.
  • Shape into balls by rolling 2-3 teaspoons of the crumbly mass between the palms of your hands. You can toss them in extra cacao, if you like.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer for several weeks.
