  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fruit preserves we love apricot
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt to taste


  • Stir together all ingredients until a smooth paste forms. Use on meatloaf as directed in your recipe.


Makes enough to generously use on a 1 pound meatloaf, if brushing once before baking, once during baking and once after baking.
