One thing I’ve been making for years and years is salmon baked in foil.
Actually any fish baked in foil, but salmon is my favorite.
I can’t believe I haven’t shared a single recipe with you so far, the reason is probably that I don’t think of this as a recipe! I usually just add anything that I find in my cupboard to the salmon, wrap it up and throw it in the oven.

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to eat it, with a yummy sauce made from honey, soy sauce and garlic.
It’s amazing that this salmon baked in foil only needs five ingredients and is ready in 20 minutes, yet it is so good!
I like to serve it with a few lime wedges for extra zing, and we usually have it with some form of carbs and veggies on the side.
Normally it really stresses me out to cook 3 different things, but this is so easy I don’t even mind!

Honey Garlic Salmon Baked in Foil
- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 cloves chopped garlic
- Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C).
- Place a large piece of aluminium foil in a shallow baking dish. Place the salmon fillets on the aluminium foil.
- Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a small bowl and pour over the salmon fillets.
- Wrap the foil over the salmon fillets, making a lose packet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked all the way through.
