My grandma used to make Elderflower syrup from her country garden every year, so the flavor brings back so many memories for me. I usually love it with club soda for a refreshing spring and summer drink, but sometimes I need to feel fancy and pair this wonderful flavor with Champagne. You can either use St. Germain liquer or Elderflower syrup here, whatever you have on hand/can find at your store!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ounces St. Germain Liqueur (OR Elderflower Syrup for a sweeter cocktail)
- 2 ounces dry champagne (or sparkling wine, well chilled)
- Garnish: lemon peel
Instructions
- Pour St. Germain (or elderflower syrup) into a champagne flute. Pour champagne on top and garnish the glass with a lemon peel curl. Serve immediately.
